Welcome to my website. You have made the 1st step towards living the life you prefer. Whether you are suffering from sadness, anxiety, depression, or just dealing with transitions and challenges life brings you, a therapist can be an objective person that can help you once again experience, joy, laughter, respect, and fulfillment.
Focus of Therapy
I believe we all benefit from having an objective person to talk with about challenges we all face in our life. I will invite you to share and discover your inner strengths that can help you enjoy a fulfilling life.
I can offer
Premarital counseling - realizing what your needs vs wants are in a relationship
Couples counseling – rediscover why you fell in love to begin with
Adolescent to adult transitioning – this can be a difficult time for both parents and adolescents
Abuse issues – no longer does this have to stay a secret
Co-dependency – our addiction is the other person, wanting them to change
Chronic pain – learn to take back control of your life
Anxiety – learn to understand and control your anxiety
Depression – enjoy pleasures in life again!
Addictions – this can come in many forms; alcohol, gambling, sex, exercise, drugs, etc
About Me
I am licensed in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist and have a private practice in Roseville CA. I find it rewarding to work with couples, individuals, and teens in discovering the life they desire, enabling them to live life to its fullest potential. I have facilitated support groups for chronic pain management, and adult survivors of abuse, and provide relationship coaching.
Within my private practice, located in Roseville CA, I offer personal psychotherapy and professional development/support groups for MFT interns and trainees who understand the importance of working through challenges that may impede their work with clients.
Additionally, I am currently a faculty member at the University of Phoenix, Sacramento campus, teaching in the Master's of Science in Counseling program, and served as the President of the Sacramento Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, 2008 and 2010.
If low cost therapy is needed I supervise educated, well-qualified trainees and interns that work with you on a sliding scale. See www.hope-counselingcenter.org for more information.
